Kitchen Hack: Self Sufficient Flour
I have come across so many recipes when doing research on the internet that require self-rising flour. In Costa Rica that is not something sold in stores and I usually just use my knowledge to calculate how much of any certain rising agent is needed. But I also discovered how to make self-rising flour in recent experiments and thought I would share.
Hack #17: Self Sufficient Flour
You can make self rising at home: Combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda.
